I have recently received a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling from Abertay University. Originally, I was planning to complete the Master’s Degree, however, after a year spending a year on the course and practising Mickel Therapy simultaneously, I decided my passion lay with Mickel over Counselling. I, therefore, left University to focus on helping people in the best way I feel I can. Before deciding to dedicate my life to helping others as a therapist, I spent 10 years teaching children drums and percussion after graduating with an Honours degree in Popular & Contemporary Music from Newcastle University. I love to spend my spare time in nature, exploring the beautiful Scottish countryside, with my partner, reading, drawing and practising Yoga. After starting down the route of Counselling, the opportunity to train as a Mickel Therapist arose. I decided to go for it as, for over 15 years, I watched my Mum suffer from ME and other related conditions such as Fibromyalgia and IBS. I believe that if she had been able to continue the recovery process she started through Mickel Therapy, several years ago, she would be alive today and helping others to recover and regain their lives. During my training, I met some remarkable people who have suffered to the same extent as her and are now doing that very thing – helping others in the same way they have been helped. I feel privileged to be able to join them in their quest to guide people with these debilitating conditions through their recovery and journey back to health. I offer a free initial telephone or Skype consultation to clients, after which, sessions can be delivered face to face in The Embody Clinic, Glasgow, over the phone or by Skype. More information can be found on my website above.
I practice from The Embody Clinic on Fridays and over Skype/phone throughout the week. Various times available, please get in touch for more information. firstname.lastname@example.org
