What does treatment involve?
One to one consultations lasting one hour. Sessions are arranged with a variable interval between them. The average interval is ideally weekly for first 2-3 sessions then every 2 weeks or so depending on progress.
Is Mickel Therapy a form of psychotherapy?
No. Mickel Therapy is a body-mind healing process. Unlike psychotherapy, we do not investigate thoughts in order to treat the mind. In contrast to most forms of physical therapy we do not try to remove symptoms through massage, diet or drugs that merely shoot the messenger. Mickel Therapy suggests that primary emotional energy is created independently of thinking or cognitions. These e-motions immediately become strong influences on cellular function and therefore physical health.
How are these conditions produced?
Mickel Therapy works on the assumption that the conditions are the result of a dysfunction of the hypothalamus gland.
How can I be sure it will work?
You can be confident in Mickel Therapy by looking at the statistical analysis of outcome that shows the following: (Please note that these results are based on client testimony)
Out of almost 800 cases 92% report now being well following Mickel Therapy.
Long term follow up of cases shows that the symptoms only returned in 6 cases and these responded fully to between 1 and 2 sessions more.
I get depression, IBS, can this treatment help me?
Although Mickel Therapy has been designed specifically to treat the conditions of CFS/ME and Fibromyalgia, it is also very successful in treating other conditions from a body-mind perspective. These include:
